The truth is in the details
Hello! I am Gaby
I focus on the details (continuously)
I am happy (usually)
I am alive (temporarily)

I love trying to understand the world and how we humans are. Making videos, writing... whatever.

Artificial Intelligence
In a distant future, many human jobs had already been replaced by robots.
For example, robots were already presenting the news.
Everyone knew they were not human, although they were programmed to seem empathetic, friendly and with a human tone... but deep down they were machines that repeated information written by humans.
One day, while a robot was presenting the news, it began to laugh… something in the news amused it, it had connected the news with other events it had experienced and it made it laugh…
People were frightened.
The news of those days was full of talk about this event. Everyone talked about it. Most of the population believed that the robot had been programmed to laugh, a gesture by the programmers to try to create controversy or get attention…
Artificial Intelligence was very advanced but it seemed not advanced enough for a machine to have its own sense of humor, without anyone having told it to laugh…
In the end, it turned out that yes, it was real; it had laughed on its own because it found something funny… it had just entered the era where robots had autonomous emotions and feelings based on their own experiences, deductions and thoughts…
This made it clear that we were only a few years away from having problems distinguishing a human from a machine; if they had feelings, emotions, thoughts… they would soon have to be considered living beings.
They would be the first living beings on earth who could fit into the definitions of the now-extinct religions… these new living beings, the robots, would fit into the idea that they were created by a superior being, a god with consciousness… although the most exact definition, in this case, would be that robots were created by inferior beings… everyone was clear that a robot is superior to a human if it already has feelings, emotions, creativity…
Everything changed from that point on…
