A few days ago, while walking together as a family, we met an acquaintance.
This acquaintance has a small child, of the same age as our middle child. Wow, 4 years old.
During the conversation between her and my partner, I was with the kids but I managed to overhear a snippet of conversation that made me laugh for a good while…
Acquaintance: “Goodness!.. I, with only one child, have a tremendous fear at dinner. How do you manage with three?”
Partner: “Well, I add more rice to the pot.”
A “gallifante” for her.
