Hello! I am Gaby

I am alive (temporarily)

I love trying to understand the world and how we humans are. Making videos, writing... whatever.

If there is a one-in-a-million chance... it's me...

Football
On a blog that I once visited to read a post about football, there was a conversation between the blog author and an internet user who asked him a question about his child and football.
The blog author replied to the father not to worry so much about his child, to let him be happy and play with his friends, that he would never become professional and therefore, not to create false expectations.
The father, a bit taken aback, answered how he could affirm so categorically that his child would never be professional. He had never seen him play. How dare he judge?
And the blog author gave an answer that I still remember. A simple answer, very simple yet clarifying how the brain of 99% of parents whose child plays above average works.
He said:
"If I tell you that your child has a one-in-a-million chance of becoming a professional footballer, you will inevitably think that this chance applies to your child.
I prefer to say that your child will never be professional... I will only be wrong once every one million times I say it."
As my child would say... "Boom" or "Turn Down for What"… things of youth that older people no longer understand…
